The V7PB series are part of Bel’s low cost non-isolated converters. These products use an industry
standard SIP package for easy of layout and space savings. The output is tightly regulated.

short circuit protection, over-temperature protection and undervoltage lockout.

xRPG “SIP” Series
The xRPG series are two-phase, non-isolated step down dc-dc converters that operate from a
nominal 12V source. These converters have output voltages that can be set from 0.9V to 5.0V
with an external resistor. Standard features include remote on/off, over current protection,
thermal protection, output voltage adjust and remote sense. These products maybe used
almost anywhere low-voltage silicon is being employed and a 12V source is available.

Specialty SIPs
The V7PC-04C/07PC-04C modules are boost converters in the standard SIP package. They
provide 20W of 5V power. The standard features include over current protection, short circuit
protection, under-voltage lockout and remote on/off. The V7PC-10AT5S is a tracking buck
converter in the standard SIP package. It provides up to 20W of output power and is designed
specifically to power DDR memory where a tracking voltage is required. The output tracks to 50%
of the voltage applied to the Vref pin.

Bus Converter Series
Bel’s family of Bus Converters is designed for Intermediate Bus Architecture applications. In
these applications the Bus Converter isolates and steps down a primary distribution bus
(usually 48V) to a lower voltage bus (typically 6 ~ 12V). This intermediate bus is used to power
downstream non-isolated point-of-load converters that generate the voltages required by the
various semiconductor devices in the system. These converters are designed to be low cost,
high density and provide typical full load efficiency of around 96%.
