Field Terminatable RJ45 Plugs

Stewart Connector expands their ﬁeld terminatable RJ45 plugs to include

Category 8.1 transmission speeds. Stewart’s Cat 8.1 ﬁeld terminatable

RJ45 plug is backward compatible with Cat 5e, Cat 6, and Cat 6a.

Stewart’s Cat 8.1 plugs are a cost-saving solution for upgrading data

centers to accommodate the continuous changes in the industry, without

the need to switch to a ﬁber optic solution. Stewart’s Cat 8.1 products are

ideal solutions for military and medical applications, along with high noise

environments.

• Accepts wire gauge: 22 – 26 AWG*

• Designed to comply with industry standard Category 8.1 channel

lengths that support 25 Gbps and 40 Gbps Ethernet speeds

• Contacts are designed for use on both solid and stranded wire

• Easy to use color coded conductor pre-load wire manager

• See below part number table for accepted outer cable diameter for

each plug option

• 50 micro-inches of gold plating on contacts for increased cycle life
