Product Description
High speed microprocessors like Intel’s Pentium®, DEC’s
Alpha, Motorola’s 68K and PowerPC, Sun’s SPARC,
MIPs, and other RISC-based systems require well-
controlled and precise clock signals to maintain a high
performance synchronous system. However, very fast
edge rated clock signals exhibit transmission line effects
on the clock lines resulting in undershoot and overs
disturbances.
These netwoare fabricated on a silicon substrate
usanced n film technology. They have low
pinductance compareo iscrete and conven-
tithick lm filters and provffective AC termina-
tion d MI/RFI noise suppressiover a wide range of
requencies.
Wthin film RC netwos? The RC207 is an inte-
grated RC network fabried on silicon substrate
using advanced thfilm tegy. This technology
insures a fixed time stant and does not create
additonal skon the ck lines. It offers very low
parasinducce compared to conventional discrete
thick filased aaches and provides effective
terhigh frequencies.
CAMD’s PRC207 SOT resistor-capacitor integra
film networks are specifically designed to eliminat
transmission line effects on high speed lock and data
lines. They are effective in suppressinEMIoise at
I/O ports and can also be used as “distted” A
terminators when filtered lines sperseross the
board.
