The CR3710 is a high-integration, high-performance ATAPI DVD
drive manager. It integrates all required components in a DVD
loader for DVD players, slim-line DVD-ROM drives, and game
consoles. The CR3710 includes an RF amp, servo control
processor, data channel, CD/DVD ECC, CSS authorization,
CD/DVD-ROM decoder, and both AVI and ATAPI interfaces.

The CR3710 can be configured with an audio D/A converter
(digital-to-analog converter), external buffer memory (8- or
16-bit DRAM), a local microcontroller with its RAM and ROM,
and power drivers to create a complete DVD player or game
console electronics solution. It also has integrated MPEG-2
and ATAPI interfaces for efficient design into a DVD player.
