APPLICATION
ꢀ The Dialight D164 Series LED Based Class 1, Div 2 certified medium intensity red beacon was designed to easily
interface into existing systems or to be provided as a red lighting fixture for new installations. The beacon is used
to mark any obstacle that may provide hazards to aircraft navigation.
OPERATING CONDITIONS
ꢀ The beacon is designed to withstand the dynamic conditions experienced in the most severe environments around
the world.
ꢀ Temperatures ranging from -40 to +55 degrees Celsius, direct sunlight, wind blown rain, wind in excess of 150 mph,
high humidity, salt fog. Meets or exceeds industry EMI / RFI standards.
MATERIALS / FINISH
ꢀ Cast aluminum base and stainless steel hardware.
ꢀ Electro-statically applied powdercoat of aviation orange paint.
ꢀ Dome is made of UV resistant polycarbonate and sealed to ensure
maximum life of the product.
