ECX-7700-XFP
10GBASE-CX4 Copper Transceiver, XFP Format
The Emcore ECX-7700-XFP copper transceiver module provides cost
effective and reliable transport of 10 Gigabit Ethernet LAN data over
distances of up to 15 meters. Transparently to the user, the module
transfers the 10GE data stream over four full-duplex 3.125 GigaBaud
channels over a single parallel copper cable. The product offers the
ability to scale bandwidth in 10 Gigabit increments, and it also mates
directly with the industry standard MDI electrical socket.
The ECX-7700 series is also available in XENPAK and X2 formats and
is ideal for enterprise data center applications, as well as telecom
network access points. Whether extending bandwidth in-system or
interconnecting between systems, ECX-7700 series transceivers offer
an attractive combination of high performance and low cost in MSA
compatible form factors.
