Intel’s AES-NI Technology
With Intel new Haswell CPU, the FW-7585
can take full advantage of Intel’s AES-NI
technology to improve data encryption
(codenamed “Shark Bay”) is a quad or and decryption performance.
dual-core processor featuring 22nm
process technology with Tri-Gate
transistors. Intel AES New Instruction
(AES-NI), allow security algorithms to
benefit from hardware acceleration
for data encryption and decryption.
The platform support dual-channel
DDR3/DDR3L 1600 MHz memory
at 1.5/1.35 V, thus it has power
and space efficiency. The platform
targeted at entry to mid branch office
Watchdog Control LAN Bypass & Power
Off LAN Bypass
The embedded watchdog monitors the
system so that it can automatically trigger
a reset if software hangs ; bypass ports
allow users to have uninterrupted network
traffic even if a single in-line appliance is
shut down or is hung. Both are essential
features of a network appliance. FW-
7585 support 3 pairs of Generation 3 LAN
routers,security appliances, UTM or Next Bypass.

ECC Memory Support
Up to 7 Years Lifecycle Support
FW-7585 supports Error-Correcting
Code (ECC) memory technology, a
servergrade memory technology that
can identify and correct memory
corruption automatically. With ECC,
system performance is more secure and
stable.
For Intel-based systems using chipsets
and CPUs from Intel’s embedded group
we offer up to 7 years lifecycle support.
This makes it possible for our customers
to support their appliances for a longer
time after deployment when compared
to standard Intel server and desktop
processors. Longer lifecycles can also be
arranged by jointly planned inventories.
DDR3/L Low Voltage Memory
Support
The FW-7585 supports DDR3L low
voltage (1.35V) memory, it make whole
system performance up to 5%~7%
compare to previous generation CPU.
IPMI/Management port (By Project)
FW-7585 includes one IPMI/
management port for in-band
management and out-of-band remote
management.
