RA 60 110 -D 16
These high-current, high-volt- ves and solenoids as well as Solid State Relay
age solid state relays are all resistive loads. Both a zero Switching mode
designed for ON-OFF or phase crossing and an instant-on Rated operational voltage
controlling of high-power AC drive circuit will minimize the Rated operational current
applications. High current and negative effects of different Control voltage
high dV/dt capabilities will al- load types. Optocouplers pro- Non-rep. peak voltage
low switching of inductive loads vide an ideal interface to logic
e.g. transformers, motors, val- level DC-outputs.

Applications
This relay is designed for use
in applications in which it is
exposed to high surge condi-
tions. Care must be taken to
ensure proper heatsinking
when the relay is to be used at
high sustained currents. Ade-
quate electrical connection
between relay terminals and
cable must be ensured.
It is essential that the user
makes sure that cooling is ad-
equate and that the maximum
junction temperature of the
relay is not exceeded.

or the like, the power dissipation
can cause the ambient tempe-
