• IDT74FCT573A up to 30% faster than FAST  
• IDT74FCT573C up to 50% faster than FAST  
• Equivalent to FAST output drive over full temperature and  
voltage supply extremes  
The FCT573 is an octal transparent latch built using an advanced dual  
metalCMOStechnology. Theseoctallatcheshave3-stateoutputsandare  
intendedforbusorientedapplications. Theflip-flopsappeartransparentto  
thedatawhenLatchEnable(LE)ishigh.WhenLEislow,thedatathatmeets  
theset-uptimeislatched.DataappearsonthebuswhentheOutputEnable  
(OE)islow.WhenOEishigh,thebusoutputisinthehigh-impedancestate.  
• IOL = 48mA  
• CMOS power levels (1mW typ. static)  
• Octal transparent latch with 3-state output control
