The Crimzon® ZLR64400 Family  
The ZLR64400 ROM MCU is a member of the Crimzon®  
family of infrared-specific microcontrollers. With 1 KB of  
general-purpose RAM and up to 64 KB ROM, ZiLOG's  
CMOS microcontrollers offer fast executing, efficient use of  
memory, UART, sophisticated interrupts, input/output bit  
manupulation capabilities, flexible Stop-Mode Recovery  
scheme, automated pulse generation/reception, and  
internal key-scan pull-up transistors.

On-Chip Learning  
The ZLR64400 ROM microcontroller family features an  
"on-chip" ability to learn codes from other infrared remote  
controls via a single infrared photodiode. The built-in  
IR amplifier with well-tuned gain greatly improves the user  
experience with a much wider range (typical 08 inches) of  
capture distance between the original remote and the  
learning remote. In addition, the ZLR64400 ROM MCU's  
patented timers (T8/T16) support all infrared signals in the  
market and captures an infrared signal with a carrier frequency  
of 1 MHz and transmit an infrared signal with a  
carrier frequency up to 4MHz.  
Available in Multiple Memory Sizes  
The ZLR64400 ROM microcontroller is available in 32 KB,  
and 64 KB versions. You get the perfect ROM choices at the  
best cost for your product designs.
