Product Highlights
This series of power connectors are used mainly in the hard and floppy disk drive
industries. It is used to carry voltages from the power supply unit to the disk drive
board. It is used to carry voltages from the power supply unit to the disk drive
board. An attempt was made by a group of ESDI (extended data interface)
committee to standardize the power connector in the drive industries. As there was
no standard as yet, Molex came up with a variation of power connectors falling
under our this 8981 series to accommodate the need of our valuable customers.
