NOTE:
This tool can be stacked together with other Insertion Tools and/or custom tools in any combination to load
a custom combination of VHDM connectors. These tools are mounted in one of several different length
mounting rails. See Sections 2.3 and 4.2 in the 62201-0999, VHDM®* and VHDM-HSD™ Installation
Tooling Manual, for detailed information on selecting the rails and mounting these special combinations.

VHDM Tooling
DESCRIPTION:
This tool weighs about 0.07 kg (0.15 lbs) and will do about 200 assemblies an hour depending on operator
skill and press speed. It is designed to press in a 6 or 8-Row VHDM® power module. See the main
manual 62201-0999, Section 2, for installation and operating instructions. A support fixture of some sort is
highly recommended due to the high forces required to press in the connectors. See Section 2.1 for
instructions for making a support.
This tool is intended for use with a customer supplied back up and in a press of sufficient tonnage to allow
full seating of the connector. There are no replacement parts available for this tool. Should any part of the
tool be damaged the whole tool must be replaced.
