1. General description
The HEF4043B is a quad R/S latch with 3-state outputs and common output enable input (OE).
Each latch has set (nS), and reset (nR) inputs and a 3-state output (nQ). When OE is LOW, the
latch outputs are in the high impedance OFF-state. OE does not affect the state of the latch.
Inputs include clamp diodes. This enables the use of current limiting resistors to interface inputs to
voltages in excess of VDD
.
