The SPS-4341RW-DXXG series is a 1 to 6.25 Gb/s  
single-mode transceiver module for serial optical  
communication applications for a radio base station system.  
It is with the SFP 20-pin connector to allow hot plug  
capability. Digital diagnostic functions are available via an  
I2C. This module is designed for single mode fiber and  
operates at a nominal wavelength of 100GHz ITU Grid, C  
Band DWDM wavelength. A guaranteed minimum optical  
link budget of 14 dB is offered. The transmitter section  
l Temperature-stabilized DWDM EML Transmitter  
l 100 GHz ITU Grid, C Band  
l Distance up to 40 km  
l SFF-8472 Digital Diagnostic Function  
l AC/AC Coupling according to MSA  
l Single +3.3 V Power Supply  
l RoHS 6/6 Compliant

temperature-stabilized  
DWDM  
l 0 to 70oC Operating  
electrical-modulated laser (EML), driver and signal  
conditioner. The receiver section uses an integrated InGaAs  
detector preamplifier (IDP) mounted in an optical header  
and a limiting post-amplifier IC.  
l Class 1 Laser International Safety Standard IEC-60825

LASER SAFETY  
This single mode transceiver is a Class 1 laser product. It  
complies with IEC-60825 and FDA 21 CFR 1040.10 and  
1040.11. The transceiver must be operated within the  
specified temperature and voltage limits. The optical ports  
of the module shall be terminated with an optical connector  
or with a dust plug.  
l OBSAI rates 6.144 Gb/s, 3.072 Gb/s, and 1.563 Gb/s  
l CPRI rates 4.9152 Gb/s, 2.4576 Gb/s, and 1.2288 Gb/s
