Accessories for the flush-type
connectors
Special fixing nuts are available for EMC-
compliant installation of M12 flush-type
connectors on coated or varnished housing
surfaces. When tightened, these cut
through the surface coating, thus
establishing a contact between the housing
and the connector.
Alternatively, flat seals can be used as a
seal between the housing panel and the
device connector. Flat seals must be
preferred in case of thin walls as the housing
cutouts need not be handled here.
