300mA Low Dropout Linear Regulator
n FEATURES
n DESCRIPTION
The SS6734 is a 3-pin low-dropout linear
regulator. The superior characteristics of the
SS6734 include zero base-current loss,
very low dropout voltage, and 2% accuracy for
the output voltage. Typical ground current
l Low dropout voltage of 470mV at 300mA
output current (3V output version).
l Guaranteed 300mA output current.
l Low ground current of 55mA.
l Output voltage accuracy of 2% at 1.8V/2.0V/
remains approximately 55mA, from no load to
maximum loading conditions. Dropout voltage
at 300mA output current is exceptionally low.
Output current limiting and thermal limiting are
built in to provide maximum protection for the
SS6734 against fault conditions.
2.5V/2.7V/3.0V/3.3V/3.5V/3.7V/3.8V/5.0V/5.2V.
l Needs only 1mF for stability.
l Protection with current and thermal limiting.
n APPLICATIONS
l Voltage Regulator for CD-ROM Drivers.
l Voltage Regulator for LAN Cards.
l Voltage Regulator for Microprocessor.
l Wireless Communication Systems.
l Battery Powered Systems.
