Surface Mount Transient Voltage Suppressors
The SM4Z series is designed specifically to protect sensitive
electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning
and other transient voltage events.
Working Voltage: 15 to 43 V
They provide a clamping voltage lower than the avalanche
voltage. Therefore, any voltage rise due to increased current
conduction is contained to a minimum, providing
the best
possible protection level. They can also be connected in series
and/or parallel to create very high capacity protection solutions.
Peak power dissipation 4400W @10 x 1000 us Pulse.
Glass passivated chip junction .
Low leakage
Excellent clamping capability
Available in uni-directional polarity only
TJ = 175 ° C capability suitable for high reliability and
automotive requirement
Meet with ISO 7637-2,ISO 16750,etc
Halogen free and RoHS compliant
CASE: SOD-BLOCK Molded Plastic over glass
passivated junction
Use in sensitive electronics protection against voltage transients
induced by inductive load switching and lighting, especially for
automotive load dump protection application
Polarity: Heatsink is Anode
Terminal: Solder plated
