The KMYcapacitors are a new long life, general purpose series available from United Chemi-Con.  
Compared to our KME or KMG series, the KMY capacitors have a longer effective lifetime of 4,000 to  
7,000 hours at 105C with the full rated ripple current applied.  
The KMY series capacitors are non-solvent proof and are not recommended when halogenated  
cleaning solvents are used. Refer to the Mini-Glossary for recommended cleaning conditions.  
Summary of Specifications  
Radial lead terminals.  
Capacitance range: 0.47 to 10,000µF.  
Voltage range: 10 to 50VDC.  
Operating temperature range: 40C to 105C.  
Leakage current: 0.01CV or 3µA, whichever is greater, after 2 minutes at 20C.  
Standard capacitance tolerance: 20%  
Nominal case size (DL): 511.5mm to1835.5mm.  
Rated lifetime: 4,000 to 7,000 hours at 105C with the rated ripple current applied,  
depending on case size.

The following specifications shall be satisfied when the capacitors are restored to 20C after  
subjecting them to the DC rated voltage for the specified test time at 105C with the rated

rated voltage of the capacitors.
