These rheostats are designed and manufactured

to operate smoothly and reliably over long periods

of use. All models are constructed with metal and

ceramic and are coated with protective vitreous

enamel or Ohmicone silicone-ceramic. Used for

motor speed controls, light dimmers and for

equipment requiring convenient variable

resistance settings. Windings are linear taper on

stock models. Tapered windings available as custom order. Ceramic body, high grade resistance alloy windings, vitreous

enamel coating (some models silicone-ceramic), metal spring contact arm, metal graphite composition and solder coated

terminals. Tolerance: ±10%. Wattage based on 25¡C.

Any knob can be used with any rheostat model which has the corresponding

shaft diameter. Knobs are fastened to shafts with slotted set screws.

Dials

Handsomely finished dials for rheostats. Figures and lines are etched on a black background

for contrast and ease of readability. Divisions, which indicate approximate percentage of

rheostat resistance in circuit, are marked from 0 to 100.
