FTTH xPON Video Receiver
Product Overview
The QPB7432 is a 47ꢀ–ꢀ1218ꢀMHz High Gain, Low EIN,
Single ended RF Optical Receiver for FTTH PON
applications. It is a technology leader with an optical input
range from -18ꢀdBm to 0 dBm. The QPB7432, with
recommended external control circuitry, provides automatic
gain control to maintain a constant +14ꢀdBmV to
+20ꢀdBmVꢁ/ꢁchannel output to insure consistent video
quality. It runs on a single +5ꢁV supply eliminating the need
for an extra ONT supply.

Notes:
1. Ground/thermal vias are critical for the proper performance of this device. Vias should use a .35ꢀmm (#80ꢀ/.0135’) diameter drill
and have a final, plated thru diameter of 0.25ꢀmm (0.010”).
2. Add as much copper as possible to inner and outer layers near the part to ensure optimal thermal performance.
3. RF trace width depends upon the PC board material and construction.
4. All dimensions are in millimeters (inches). Angles are in degrees.
