Frequency  
The M201/211 Series is a family Frequency Multipliers  
that range in output frequencies from 200MHz to  
1GHz. These low-skew, low-noise devices provide  
either single-ended or differential inputs and are  
ideally suited to applications where an  
Low 5ps (rms) Phase  
Jitter  
environmentally remote or stabilized reference is  
available as a low frequency source for multiplication.  
Low 1.5nsec Skew  
(Fout to Fref)  
The M201/211 Frequency Multiplier Series was  
developed specifically to meet tough performance  
requirements found in today's high-end RISC-based  
Computers, Telecom Transmission, Base Station,  
ATE, and Datacom applications.

Multiplication Factors  
of 32 or 33 or 64 or 65  
Packaged in small, 24-pin double-wide metal DIP  
packages, the M201/211 Series devices are available  
with either ECL or PECL differential outputs and  
operate from a single supply (+5V for PECL and -5V  
for the ECL). Standard models are specified for 0°C to  
+70°C operation. Extended temperature range  
models are available for -25°C to +85°C operation (L  
models) and for -55°C to +125°C operation (M  
models) .

1. The output is measured with 250 Ohm termination resistor connected to V  
2. The output jitter is measured with a maximum input jitter of 20psec p-p.

4. The M211 model's input does not contain pulldown resistors thereby providing a high impedance to the differential
