E SERIES ECX
[FEATURES]
• AC.100V/200V input and switching type.
• Floating between outputs 5V and 24V.
• Large 24V peak current (ECX-001/-003/-005/-007).
• Optimum for pulse load and mechanism drive.
• Compact and lightweight.
[SUMMARY]
The E series ECX products are 2-output power supplies of 5V
type for a logic circuit and 24V type for driving a mechanism. This
series has no limitation on the minimum output current and has
superior characteristics of dynamic load variation from a light load
to a rated load so as to obtain a large peak current (24V output),
thus enabling a wide variety of uses for mechatronics.

ABOUT 24V (V2) OUTPUT PEAK CURRENT
INPUT VOLTAGE
The ECX-001, ECX-003, ECX-005, and ECX-007 are capable of
flowing peak current as 24V load current for driving mechatronics.

The power supply has an input line filter mounted inside in order
to reduce external noise or to prevent a noise generated inside

equipment. Ground wiring is recommended for the G terminal
(frame) in order to enhance the filter effect. If a further noise
reduction is required, attach a filter to a portion outside the power
supply.

Leakage current flows between the G terminal (frame) and the
ground. If two or more power supplies are used or a filter is
attached to an external portion, the total leakage current is
applied.
NOTES ON USE
INTERNAL ADJUSTMENT TRIMMER
This product has an internal adjustment trimmer. Please do not
touch it that can result in damage caused by any change of the
setting.

OVERCURRENT PROTECTION FUNCTION
The output overcurrent protection is effective only for a short
circuit. A continuation of the intermediate overload condition (for

the power supply being energized (or immediately after being
energized). Be careful to touch internal components. In addition,
energizing at light load may leave a high voltage for several
minutes after a shutdown of the input voltage.
