Extended ﬂange oﬀers superior

performance up to 1 Ghz

TE has improved the performance of the Corcom EJT Series

IEC inlet ﬁlter for high frequency applications by extending the

ﬂange around the IEC320-C14 inlet to reduce the amount of

radiated radio frequency (RF) through potential gaps around

the installed ﬁlter.

BENEFITS

TE’s EJT series provides superior EMI ﬁlter performance up to 1GHz,

where typical EMI ﬁlters are designed to perform to only 30MHz.

The superior performance of the EJT series comes from a unique

circuit design and an internal construction technique to attenuate

frequencies above 30MHz.

EJT FLANGED EMI FILTER

The Corcom EJT Series oﬀers superior performance above

100 MHz as plotted in orange on Graph 1. The new extended

ﬂange version of the EJT Series provides enhanced shielding

performance with an improvement of 10dB by eliminating any

gaps created from mounting the EMI ﬁlter through a panel

cut-out.
