什么是EPROM
- EPROM是一种是一种断电后仍能保留数据的计算机储存芯片——即非易失性的(非挥发性)。EPROM由以色列工程师Dov Frohman发明,它是一组浮栅晶体管,被一个提供比电子电路中常用电压更高电压的电子器件分别编程。
EPROM其中的内容可以通过特殊手段擦去,然后重新写入。其基本单元电路(存储细胞),常采用浮空栅雪崩注入式MOS电路,简称为FAMOS。它与MOS电路相似,是在N型基片上生长出两个高浓度的P型区,通过欧姆接触分别引出源极S和漏极D。
