Description
This STEVAL-IHM012V1 evaluation board
employs a traditional design that illustrates how
the chopper circuit controls a brush DC motor with
a microcontroller as a driver. The purpose of the
board is to demonstrate an ST solution for low-
end cordless power tools, such as cordless drills
or screwdrivers, but can be an ideal starting point
for the design of any application where driving a
low voltage DC brush motor is required. Based on
a Power MOSFET and microcontroller, the
electronic driver is a simple, cost-effective solution
for designers.
