• The NLU series are thin-film chip inductors for GHz-band  
circuit applications. They incorporate advanced low-dielectric  
ceramic materials and other new technologies developed by  
TDK to economically deliver superior operating characteristics.  
• TDK has applied thin-film technology to increase manufacturing  
precision. Inductance values in the NLU series are maintained  
to a tolerance of ±0.2nH for the 1.2 to 8.2nH parts and ±2% for  
the 10 to 100nH parts. This significantly eases trimming  
requirements in high-frequency circuit design. The high level of  
precision is further evident in the dimensional tolerances of the  
electrodes: the maximum permissible deviation is ±0.1mm.  
• To aid in visual identification and assure consistent mounting,  
one of the terminal leads in each case forms a "T".
