This specification describes
PR/PF/PH series current sensor -
low TCR with lead-free terminations
made by metal substrate.
Both part numbers are identified by the series, size, tolerance, packing
type, temperature coefficient, taping reel and resistance value.

(1) The resistors have a 12-digit ordering code starting with 2322.
The ordering code of a MPRC221
resistor, value 0.005 X with ±5%
tolerance, supplied in tape of

(2) The subsequent 4 or 5 digits indicate the resistor tolerance and
packaging.
(3) The remaining 4 or 3 digits represent the resistance value with the

Chip Resistor Surface Mount
CONSTRUCTION
The resistors are constructed using outstanding TCR level material, which makes Yageo PR/PF/PH resistors
excellent for current sensing application in battery charger circuit & DC-DC converter.
The composition of the resistive material is adjusted to give the approximate required resistance and is
covered with a protective coating, which printed with the resistance value.
Finally, the three external terminations (Cu / Ni / matte Tin) are added, as shown in Fig. 4.
